Overview


The Spare Parts tab helps teams manage and track all maintenance-related parts efficiently.

Add Spare Part


Click on + New Part in the top right corner of the Maintenance Resources page to open up the Add New Part ” form.

Add Spare Part User Interface

Fill in all required fields denoted with * before hitting the Save button on the bottom of the popup form. If required fields have not all been filled, a popup will inform the user of the missing field(s) and red outlines will appear on the left side of each missing field.

Manufacturer Part Code * Manufacturer-provided code for this part. string
Universal Code * Globally used code or internal part number. string

Currency * Currency of the unit cost. dropdown

Edit Spare Part


In the Maintenance Resources page, locate and click the spare part you wish to update. In the top-right corner, click the Pencil icon next to the part to open the Edit Spare Part form.

Adjust desired fields and ensure that all required fields denoted with * are filled in before hitting the Save button on the bottom of the popup form. If required fields have not all been filled, a popup will inform the user of the missing field(s) and red outlines will appear on the left side of each missing field.

Bulk Upload Spare Parts


The Bulk Upload feature allows users to efficiently import multiple spare parts at once using an Excel template. This process is helpful for adding large inventories quickly and accurately.

On the Maintenance Resources page, click the 3-dot Icon on the top right of the page and click Bulk Upload Button to open the Bulk Upload Spare Parts popup window.

Bulk Upload Spare Parts User Interface

The Bulk Upload Spare Parts popup is designed for clarity and ease of use. It includes the following elements:

Element Description
Step 1 – Download Excel Sample Provides a button to download the pre-formatted sample Excel template required for bulk import.
Step 2 – Upload Excel Allows users to upload the completed Excel file either by clicking Browse or dragging the file into the upload box.
Cancel Button Closes the popup without uploading any data.
Bulk Upload Button Initiates the import process after the file is selected.

Bulk Downloading All Spare Parts


The Bulk Download feature allows users to efficiently export all spare parts at once as an Excel file.

On the Maintenance Resources page, click the 3-dot Icon on the top right of the page and click Bulk Download Button. The download may take more than a few seconds.
